THE STEERING WHEEL SPACER STORY
The company founder, Giacomo Pinzoni, is a Mechanical Engineer who was born with car passion in his blood: he began to drive on B-roads much earlier than having the driving licence, and keep racing in the Time Attack.
Years ago he bought a Renault Clio RS, a lovely and funny car, but the steering wheel didn’t “came out” and he missed so much the feeling that a race car’s wheel gives.
He didn’t want to mount an aftermarket steering wheel, because its own was beautiful and he didn’t want to loose the airbag and the steering wheel buttons.
Nothing was available on the market that could make the OEM steering wheel closer, so, his demanding temperament lead him to invent and manufacture his own first STEERING WHEEL SPACER.
He couldn’t imagine that his need was many other people need too. So, he start to design spacers for every car.

How is it made?
It’s manufactured starting from 2 materials: forged steel and aluminium bar.
They are CNC machined thanks to a CAD-CAM software, after 2D and 3D designing made on the original steering wheel and steering column coming from the specific car the spacer is designed for.
Our steering wheel spacers are a 100% replica of the steering wheel and column, designed doing reverse engineering on the OEM parts.
The plus of our invention is the spline shaft. We machine the splined shaft to match the steering wheel. This is the core detail that makes possible to approach your own steering wheel and keep your airbag.
Until now, only the spline bore has been replicated on the aftermarket spacers, making the installation of the original airbag-equipped steering wheel impossible.
We replicate both splines. And in case it is required, we supply a wire extension with OEM-matching connectors, to retain paddleshifters and steering wheel buttons full functionallity.
